For 2016 Children's Day, children in Huoxi Township Primary School in Sertar County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Szechwan Province, received gifts from iLen again: 20 e-reading devices. With scarce teaching resources, the children in these rural areas have difficulties learning Chinese and the Chinese teachers struggle with their jobs. With this in mind, we purchased and donated the e-reading devices in the hope of building a better environment for learning Chinese, as well as building enthusiasm among the children. Donations and funds were raised by iLen and its employees.

Language is vital for passing on culture and heritage, from generation to generation. iLen is eager to support education in the zang district with practical actions and to promote language learning as we break down cultural barriers.
