Job Responsibilities

1. Be suitable for the role of medical translator, editor or proofreader
2. Work closely with the project manager, follow project instructions and complete the project to a high standard
3. Create and maintain termbases and translation memories as needed

Required Qualifications

1. CET 6/TEM 8, strong English comprehension and Chinese expression skills, Bachelor's degree or above in any subject
2. Major in medical or life sciences or extensive experience in medical or life sciences translation
3. Passionate about translation, a team player
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with CAT tools is preferred
5. Can work under pressure, localization industry experience is preferred

Business Development
Specialist

Job Responsibilities

1. In line with the company's annual business objectives, develop a sales strategy and plan, and lead the implementation to achieve sales objectives
2. Develop and cultivate new clients/leads, target foreign enterprises with localization needs or foreign enterprises with offices in China that have decision-making powers on localization vendor selection
3. Maintain client relationships, follow up with clients, visit clients and manage the client account
4. Coordinate work between departments and cooperate with relevant departments to successfully perform all project phases, from start to after-sales service
5. Continuously monitor industry trends, contribute to the company's development strategy, work flow, client services, etc.
6. Attend various trade shows and industry events to promote and maintain the company's brand image and raise its profile
7. Maintain the company's Twitter and Facebook accounts and other publicity channels

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or above, fluent in spoken English, proficient in written English, familiar with Western society and culture, overseas study background or overseas work experience is preferred
2. Good market awareness, extensive experience in marketing and team management at home and abroad, able to use multiple channels to acquire customers and independently develop our localization/translation business
3. Excellent planning, organization, execution and communication skills, clear thinking, organized, enterprising and responsible, good business negotiation skills
4. Professional, dependable, sincere, passionate and meticulous, able to work under pressure
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with CRM platforms is preferred
6. Experience in localization/translation companies is preferred
